Reliant Security, a specialized information security consultancy, is looking for a qualified senior systems integrator and administrator.

The right candidate will have the opportunity to assist in the development of unique security solutions that are built around a leading-edge UNIX framework with custom software. Reliant will provide the opportunity to gain a comprehensive understanding of information security, including sponsorship for the appropriate industry certifications.

Candidates should have a strong background in systems administration with a special emphasis on Linux, Unix and Microsoft technologies.

We specifically require:

• At least 7 years of overall IT experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Extensive experience with systems integration, including administration, package deployment, configuration and “bare iron” installs
• Strong scripting experience in shell, PERL, Python and/or Ruby.
• Strong UNIX security skills including system hardening
• Networking and systems integration experience, including a full understanding of TCP/IP fundamentals, routing, firewall and other network security devices
• Additionally, experience with Solaris or OpenSolaris is desirable.
